Aerial hoop workshop with Brennan Figari
14. & 15. May 2022/ 10am-12 pm / Mala scena
Join Brennan for this four hour workshop (two hours on Saturday and two hours on Sunday) where you will learn a fun and exciting aerial hoop choreography set to music (and counts!). On Saturday you will start to learn the individual elements of our new routine to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe with them. Then on Sunday we will put it all together with transitions and music, finishing in a synchronized group aerial hoop number! The choreography has several optional moves so students of different levels can all feel challenged. Participants should be at an intermediate level and be comfortable with some spinning.
About Me:
“Originally from the San Francisco area in California, I’ve been lucky enough to have spent over half my life (more than 15 years!) traveling around the world as a choreographer, coach, and artist. I live in Berlin, Germany where I am the acrobatic coach and choreographer for Friedrichstadt-Palast, one of the largest shows in Europe. As a coach, I have taught first-time recreational students to full time professional artists and everyone in between. My teaching style focuses on both the artistic and the athletic, to help guide my students to reach their full aerial potential.
As a choreographer and performer I have worked with some of the largest creations in the world. From high flying celebrities to exclusive corporate and luxury events, my aerial creations have entertained millions worldwide. Previous clients include America’s Got Talent, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Helene Fischer, Wintergarten Varieté, Cavalia, The Tonight Show„ Google, Emirates Airlines, P&O Cruises, Sea World San Diego, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and many more.
I have taught thousands of students all over the world and can’t wait to work with you!”
