Classical ballet studio of the Dancing theater Split was founded in 1970 by Luciano Perić and Banka Ćića Trumbić. Thousands of young dancers of all ages developed their basic knowledge and love for dance. The ensemble performed at the International Children’s Festival in Šibenik over 20 times, performed in Croatia and abroad; they were awarded first prize at the World ballet and folk dance festival in Turkey. It’s one of the rare studios which teach classical ballet in Split, introducing children to the basics of classical and contemporary dance, creating the foundations for developing future ballet artists.
