Objava qIZLOŽBA: Pawel Zukowski - QUEER ANGER pojavila se prvi puta na Dom mladih Split.

]]> Pawel Zukowski is an artist and activist who uses simple found materials in his work, such as cardboard from discarded boxes, boards from discarded pieces of furniture, posters and fabric. As a scholarship holder, the first one from Eastern Europe, this year he stayed at the Tom of Finland Foundation, where he researched their extensive archives of gay erotica. Referring to his own protest aesthetics, the author uses archival materials from which he creates new works, based on both queer anger and queer pleasure, works that not only bring us closer to a historical moment that the author came to know through the archives but works that resonate even today, calling for political engagement.

The exhibition can be viewed until July 30 from 19 to 21h. The exhibited works were created with the support of the Tom of Finland Foundation.

]]> With queerANarchive Distro, DJ program, audition and recreation from the LGBT Center Split, you will also be able to see a film — Who Will Fuck Daddy Lasse Langstrom.
The film is a mix of hypnotic, mystical and mysterious scenes which explore the topics of death, heteronormativity and homonationalism te prihvaćanja raznolikosti tjelesnih pojavnosti.

]]> Ulla is a product of the AbFab agency. The agency gathers Ulla the Influencer and the Manager. Ulla is an ambassador for the AbFab Agency and also the only model with which it cooperates. Without Ulla, there would be no agency, and without agency there probably wouldn’t be Ulla. This exhibition is a presentation of their work so far, showing all Ulla’s roles through the medium of photography and video, arranged chronologically so that we can track their development over the past year. At the exhibition opening, Ulla will exclusively stage a performance. Considering the enchanting charisma and specificity of Influencerica Ulle, I decided to conceptualize this very original exhibition in the form of interviews with the diva in question. I think that you will be able to get to know her peculiar personality and gain insight into AbFab’s concept of work. It’s not necessary to write about Ulla, she says enough about herself. Ulla is beautiful, brave and determined.
