We are pleased to invite you to the work-in-progress presentation of “Fil” by the Spanish contemporary circus collective Madame Gauc in Amfiteatar Doma mladih on Wednesday, May 29th at 21:00.
From May 16th until June 1st 2019, Maria Palma, Anna Fernandez and Mon Mato are working on the last phase of their “Fil” research here in Split, during the residency at Youth Centre and HALA 100.
Madame Gauc is a young contemporary circus collective created while Maria and Mon were attending Codarts Circus Academy in Rotterdam. After returning to Spain, Maria and Mon continued their research of partner acrobatics and teeterboard and their first production started. “Fil” is the place of encounter of acrobatics and movements and two different personalities.

The program is realized with the help of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, the City of Split (official site) and Acción Cultural Española, AC / E. The ROOM 100 supported the Foundation Kultura nova, and the residency and work-in-progress presentations are realized in cooperation with the Multimedia Cultural Center.
